2019 Points Series &

Rider of the Year Championship

Classes are jumped in our 60mx45m 'Quarry Arena' with it's fantastic All-weather Fibrelok Sports Surface.

We offer plenty of warm up and cool down areas.

Food and Drink available throughout the day.

We are delighted to announce that Optimum Vehicles will be joining us in hosting for the 2nd year our Points Series in all Disciplines at

Yorkshire EC along with our Fabulous Rider of the Year Championship worth over £3000 to the winner!

Starting from April until Sep 19, points can be collected giving each Competitor a fair chance to win a coveted championship of each discipline and the Yorkshire EC Rider of the Year 2019

Points are awarded for an entry of each class with the winners gaining extra points per show.

We have opted to run a points system which keeps a level playing field and eliminates the risk of a competitor who works hard all season to find they are for some reason unable to attend a championship show. Such as an injury or work commitments.

Champions will be announced in October.

Points awarded as follows:

1st place = 8 Points, 2nd place = 7 points, 3rd place = 6 points, 4th place = 5 points, 5th place = 4 points, 6th place = 3 points, class entry = 1 point.

Points are collected on Horse and Rider combinations not solely on the Rider.

what they say...

“ I’ve been watching Yorkshire EC flourish over the past few years, much the same as Optimum Vehicles and as we both share the same passion and mindset for our business and clients, I’ve jumped at the chance to help give something back and support our local talent through a common interest all round - prestige horsepower!” - Paul Sanderson - Managing Director Optimum Vehicles

I think Optimum Vehicles and Yorkshire EC are the perfect fit to help our local riders achieve more through our Rider of the Year award with £1000 cash prize plus free YEC training and entry fees it really is going to give someone a fantastic power boost. Plus the best thing about it, is that it is really is an open field, the way we have formatted the series means its not just about having the best horse or the best rider and equipment, its also about passion, dedication and sportsmanship. We are massively excited to see the year unfoldGemma Womersley - Owner Yorkshire EC
